Kids Solar System Project & Resources, Science With Kids At Home

This is a really fun Solar System kit. Love this warm sunny weather, this is a perfect project to do outside!

This kit was really easy to use.

This was such a fun learning experience! Xander had fun mixing paint to make the colours he needed.  The box was loaded with facts and information, really great kit!

We started by scrunching up tissue paper and using white glue and water as a paper mache mixture to coat all of the Styrofoam balls. This gave them a fun bumpy texture.

We started painting the planets right away! We inserted all of the sticks provided so that the kids could use them as handles for painting.

Little sister takes over...

Solar System materials we love.
We also used Montessori 3 Part cards for the planets, you can find a Free set of cards here.

This is a great puzzle filled with fun facts. You use a spaceship magnifier to fly around and read planet information.

We LOVE this book and the "Cat in the Hat Knows A lot About That" Series.  These books offer a huge amount of information presented in such a fun and easy to read way.
