Today was very exciting! Xander loves the grammar solids and today was our first day working with them. For those who may not know, the Montessori curriculum uses symbols to represent each of the nine parts of speech. Xander matched the grammar solids to the photos on his 3 part cards and then the card labels. He was excited to hear that there were fun activities to go with each symbol.
Montessori is so special because all activities are multi sensory, hands on, and fun.
He used our template to trace and colour each symbol, and then write the name below.

He is making a tiny book with these pages. Tomorrow we will check out our Noun Box!!

Awesome! I have a very big soft spot for Montessori grammar...We're starting our grammar farm this week! I think I get way too excited about this stuff :).
