Halloween Math activities, Pumpkin Addition & Counting Halloween Inspired

This is a fun pumpkin addition activity. I found little wooden pumpkins at the dollar store to use for Halloween  inspired math and counting activities. We can use them later for craft projects.
Xander is creating simple addition problems with numerical word cards. This was a really fun way to practice reading numerals in written form.

We created the sheet below for Ava to practice making numbers 1-5.  I took pictures of our pumpkins and pasted the images into a word doc.  She simply matches the quantities and pattern.

We also created number cards 1-5 for Ava to create the quantity in pumpkins.

We've had great fun with these tiny pumpkins!
