Felt Christmas Ornaments, Sewing With Kids Montessori Practical Life At Home

We had great fun making Christmas Felt Ornaments for friends and family as gifts!
We made some our patterns by simply hand drawing, and others by finding images online.
We cut out the patterns, pinned them to our felt and cut them out.
We cut two of each pattern so they could be stitched together and slightly stuffed
with polyester filling.

We hand stitched ours with embroidery floss.
We had great fun choosing buttons and other embellishments.

We embellished them ours buttons and sequins! You can sew or glue them on it depends on the age of your child.
I found the moose ornament on Pinterest.  I enlarged my screen to make the image larger, and simply traced the screen image (carefully without pressure on the screen).
This worked so well. You can size the images to whatever you need.
Colouring pages are also a great choice for patterns.

This was such a fun project!
