The Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary, has a ton to offer. They have hiking, cross-country ski trails, canoeing, camping, and outdoor learning programs.
They also rent equipment at a very low cost.
This is a beautiful family friendly spot that we love to visit. It's a very short walk to this location where our tiny ones love feeding the birds!

I love this. What an amazing opportunity to take your young ones on an excursion in nature. I had no idea that it was so close and such easy access. You do a great job promoting the importance of community involvement and showing your children the importance of getting out and exploring. I really enjoy your blogs and they give me great ideas.
