Pumpkin Festival, A Visit To Upper Canada Village

Upper Canada Village is a working village set in the 1860's.  The buildings were either salvaged or donated, and relocated to the village setting you see today.  We visit every year!! This visit was made with some wonderful home school friends.

All of the pumpkins are carved resin. The village comes alive in the evening with a pumpkin lighting extravaganza!!
During the Christmas season they light the village for Alight at Night - complete with wagon and train rides, skating, treats and hot cocoa:))

Demonstration in the sawmill

Visiting the piglets:))

The kids got to try their hands at the water pump.
