Lego Classes For Kids, Lego Robotics & Classes At Home

We have been very busy this fall with classes that one of our home school group moms arranged for our group.  We merge once a week for three different Lego Classes, Drama Classes, Medieval History & Sword Play Classes, along with play time, coffee & chat, arts & crafts, nature walks etc. These types of classes are amazing to create as a group so it's fun to check out what might be available in your area for your groups.

Xander is taking (along with the other classes) Lego Structures and Machines, and Lego Mechanical Engineering and Intro to Robotics. These classes are amazing!  Xander is Lego crazy so this has been a wonderful opportunity.

Classes inspired Xander to work with a larger Technic Kit, and motorize it.

This set has a second build option, that he is pretty excited to tear down and start creating.

I really love this set because it was such a great value, and offered so many pieces and options for future building.  We also purchased this gear kit to add further options.
A Robotics kit has topped his Xmas list. Pretty exciting stuff!!

  1. My son spends about half his day with Legos! We got the Lego Builder's Guide for him for Christmas, we had it out of the library forever! Who is holding your classes?

  2. Omygosh...that sounds just like Xander!! Gotta LOVE Lego:)) I have seen the book(s) you are talking about, and we have a couple on our xmas list as well...so exciting:))
The person teaching is a mechanical engineering technologist who developed Lego education classes teaching engineering, technology, mechanics and robotics.
He teaches all over, and with several other home school groups in the area. We are lucky to have him do this. He has a tremendous amount of resources and equipment, it’s really wonderful:))
    Enjoy your Lego journey!!
