DIY Kids Frozen Snow Globe

Over the holidays we went to see the new Disney movie Frozen,  and loved it!
Miss Ava is completely taken by it.

She was very lucky because Nanny & Papa were in Disney in December, and brought her back Elsa & Anna dolls.

Making the Globe
We bought this inexpensive snow globe (above) with photo insert at the grocery store, and thought Ava would love this!! I will admit we are not typically character frenzied at our house, but Ava loves these two ladies!!
I kept one of the boxes from the dolls because they have such great images on them, and I thought they would be perfect to cut out and use for this. You can certainly find the images elsewhere though.

This is very simple!! I just cut out the photos from the back and used the sample photo from the globe as a guide to size them. I cut rectangles from the scenery to mount the photos.

I mounted the photos to the background images with double sided tape, but anything would work.
I did double check to be sure the photos were a good height before I taped anything.

I backed the images to one another to check that they were even, and the same size.
I mounted these pictures to the little plastic sleeve that fits back into the globe to secure the photos.

Super cute!!

A couple of favourite gifts were this read along story book, and the Frozen soundtrack.
Ava has been singing for days!!

This was such a great movie, and the music was just wonderful!!
Thought I would share a bit of fun from our holiday 💕
