About Making Montessori Ours Education Printables...
We have worked very hard to create various support materials for our children. We have handmade many diy versions of Montessori materials, and if you wish to check those out please visit our DIY Materials tab to take you to visit these posts.
Montessori materials are absolutely lovely, but the simple truth is that many are just not affordable to purchase for home use - for all. Hopefully this will change, but for now our goal is to create printable versions that include an explanation of what the material is and the support materials needed to use them. We have worked very hard to create various support materials for our children. We have handmade many diy versions of Montessori materials, and if you wish to check those out please visit our DIY Materials tab to take you to visit these posts.
We will also provide links to anything that will help your material making journey easier!!
We use Montessori Research and Development Manuals. I do not often make recommendations, but I would recommend the use of manuals in some form to help you out with the scope and sequence of the materials and detailed complete lessons - provided that is what you are looking for.
While there is a ton of amazing information out there it can be really tough to piece this curriculum together. To ease the burden of the cost, you could purchase them as you need them and some are free. Lots of individuals are blogging about manuals and providing great lists.

DeleteHi Cherine! What a great site you have. I've been a Montessori teacher for years. I have M.ed. in Montessori Education with 3-6 and 6-9 training. I came across your site helping my sister prepare to homeschool her boys! Sure wish I was home to help. She's in South Carolina and somehow my life has taken me North of Border to Toronto. Anyway, I love your Checkerboard materials! Such an expensive material and now I can make it for my nephews for a fraction of the cost.
